New portrait of the esteemed American illustrator Norman Rockwell. Rockwell is, in fact, the only artist most Americans can name, so embedded in the national conscience are his images of idyllic splendor in the flyover states. Given the choice of purchasing a Norman Rockwell collector's plate or a print of my above portrait, my own Grandma would take the plate every time.
